THRESHING MILL NEAR ABERCHIRDER

Typical steam engine driven thresher which would have travelled from farm to farm.  These were used to separate the grain from
the stalks - a job done by combine harvesters now.  In those days, large numbers of workers and helpers would gather and
it became something of a social event in the farming community.
