The United Free Church building sits on the corner of North Street and Cornhill Road.  From 1907 onwards it became the West Hall and was used by various youth groups and by the Home Guard during the Second World War. In 1947 William Davidson of Cullen purchased the building and from 1950 to 1959 ran it as a cinema.  It was later acquired by Sandy Bremner who operated a filling station on the site and the building was later utilised for storage of goods and materials.
Further information about the history of this church and others in Aberchirder can be found in the book "Aul' Kirkers, Free Kirkers and UP's in Marnoch" by Bob Peden.
