From a postcard
by William Auchinachie Jnr. Postmarked 1906.
The picture was taken at the east end of North Street, looking towards what has
become known as the 'point' or 'pointie', where it meets South Street, the A97.
The trees on the right bound what is now known as Reid Park to the side of New
Marnoch Church. The horse trough is approximately where the frontage of No
191 North Street is now.
