Foggie Boys Primary 1,2,3 football squad are pictured sporting new waterproof jackets thanks to the generosity of two of the parents. This is to compensate for the disappointment after the sudden withdrawal of their strip by a former sponsor. Back

LOCAL CHEMIST
RETIRES
Marjory
Brown, who has been the Chemist in Aberchirder for 14 years has called it
a day. |
After
serving as a locum in and around Aberdeenshire for a number of years,
Marjory came to Aberchirder and took over the Chemist, Post Office and
newsagents shop at 55 Main Street. Marjory is retiring to Largie
near Insch where some of her family farm. Her husband David
continues to run his Accountant's business in Huntly. |

ABERCHIRDER PHARMACY From 6th February, the business will be in the hands of the new owner Samantha Melrose (right of picture) and it will be renamed Aberchirder Pharmacy. Sam already has a pharmacy in Peterhead and therefore she will not be present in Aberchirder at all times. The new resident pharmacist, Sandra McCulloch (left of picture), will manage the shop in Sam's absence. There will be no changes to the services currently provided but refurbishment of the entire shop is proposed and plans are already well advanced. Part of the adjoining house will be taken into the shop premises, a consulting room provided, a new dispensary created and a complete refit of the shop will all take place as soon as practicable. |
