COMMUNITY COUNCIL |
AGM 2007 It’s time for the AGM once again. It will be held in the Church Hall on Wednesday 20 June at 7:30 pm. The Community Council is still short of one member, so if you feel you have a little time and some ideas to contribute, please let us know. The Community Council is used by Aberdeenshire Council, Police, NHS and other agencies as the official voice of our community, so it’s important that its members reflect local ideas and opinions. To volunteer to become a member, or find out more about what the Community Council does, please contact Margaret McKay on 780208. |
New Aberdeenshire Councillors There was a good turnout for the heckling meeting on 23 April, when all nine candidates were present to make statements and answer questions. As a result of the election on 5 May the three councillors representing the new Banff and District ward are John Cox, Ian Gray and Jack Mair. The Community Council looks forward to working with them for the benefit of Aberchirder and District. Councillors’ phone numbers:
