This year's Foggie Flower Show took place on 15 August 2009. It was officially opened by Brian Pack, retired Chief Executive of Aberdeen & Northern Marts Group.
On the morning of the show the weather was miserable, dreich and wet
but at lunchtime, by good fortune, the sky cleared and it turned out
a very warm and sunny day. The main tent offered a magnificent
display of entries in all sections: fruit, vegetables, floral, arts
and crafts, home-made produce and more. The field sports and
entertainment proved ever-popular, as were other displays. |
