Annual Village Events
Two annual events which attract visitors are the Foggie Gala and the Foggie Flower Show, both held in McRobert Park.
The Gala, held in June, is a good example of combined community effort. St Marnan’s Sports Club runs a very successful 5-a-side football competition which attracts teams from all over the Northeast while the Community Association provides stalls for local organisations to raise funds.
Foggie Flower Show, one of the major events in the Northeast and held every August, is an occasion when people from far and near, often with local connections, congregate.
